Our names are Eyal and Tzippy Rav-Noy, and we homeschooled all five of our children. CAPIT Reading is the program we wished we'd had.
Here's why. Most phonics programs are built on a century-old method that hasn't kept up with the Science of Reading. They start with letters and ask what sound each one makes—as if letters could talk. But in English, a single letter can make many sounds, so the language feels random, and children who are struggling stay stuck.
CAPIT Reading is a true Sound-to-Print (Linguistic Phonics) curriculum. We start with the sounds your child already speaks, then show how those sounds are written—turning English into a code they can easily crack.
